Wordblade is a word game made by an independent developer. This policy describes exactly what the app collects and why. The short version: no accounts, no ads, no tracking — the app collects a small set of anonymous gameplay statistics to improve the game, and nothing else.
When you play, the app sends us anonymous gameplay events:
We do not collect: your name, email, contacts, location, photos, microphone, advertising identifiers, the text you type anywhere else, or anything that identifies you personally. The app has no accounts and no ads. We do not sell or share this data with anyone, and we do not use it to track you across other apps or websites.
Only for product analytics: understanding which parts of the game work, tuning difficulty, and fixing problems. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Raw gameplay events are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. To request earlier deletion, email the contact address above and include the Analytics ID shown in the app's Settings screen — that code is the only way we can find the events that came from your device. To stop all future collection, delete the app.
Wordblade is a general-audience game and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app never asks for your age or any personal details.
Wordblade is currently distributed in New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. The collection described above is limited to anonymous product analytics under the transparency and minimization principles of Canada's PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020, and applicable US state law. If distribution expands to other regions, this policy will be updated first.
If the app ever collects anything beyond what is listed here, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the App Store privacy label will be updated to match.
